Albinism & Disability Advocacy Centre
A place of safety and care for society’s unique, special and different people.
Our Guiding Principle
Everyone deserves the best shot at life. It is society's duty to give special care to those who need it.
Motivation
Our first strategy is to promote comradeship that motivates the Albino and Physically challenged person away from self limitations.
Consideration
We promote consideration for Albinos and physically challenged people in the larger society so we can be included.
Inclusion
We ensure Albinos and physically challenged people are included in society activities being well motivated and considered.
Albinism
Albinism is a condition 1 in every 20,000 persons are born with around the world. It is a congenital absence of pigment in the skin and hair (which are white) and the eyes (which are usually pink).

OUR WORK FOR
People living with Disabilities
According to the World Health Organization, about 15% of the world’s population lives with some form of disability, of whom 2-4% experience significant difficulties in functioning. The global disability prevalence is higher than previous WHO estimates, which date from the 1970s and suggested a figure of around 10%.
01.
Physical Support
For physically challenged persons we organize donations for the purchase of aides depending on the specific condition. We also assist in training beneficiaries on the use of such aides when the need arises..
02.
Psychological Care
Trauma is a usual outcome of sudden disability hence we provide support for the mental health of physically challenged persons. This is done by professionals in our midst as well as volunteers who are well organized within a schedule.
03.
Comradeship
We serve as and create communities for people who are physically challenged. The feeling of togetherness and the existence of a family with the same challenge helps in boosting morale to face life as a lot oof data has shown over the years.
04.
Rights Protection
With a world full of bullies there is need for the physically challenged to have an array of legal professionals and competent socio crusaders to protect their rights in society. ADAC takes up this mantle and has structured a system for the defense of our people.
